Members visit DC in support of the 911 SAVES Act

In one way or another it can be said that all politics are local. That means that whether engaging with county, state, or federal elected officials, members of BCFPE are ensuring those conversations provide tangible benefits for Baltimore county employees. The union took a trip to Capitol Hill to meet with legislators about bills that would reclassify 9-1-1 operators.

AFL-CIO Night at Camden Yards 2019

UPDATE: Tickets are still available for the AFL-CIO Union Night at Camden Yards on Friday, July 12 at 7:05 P.M. against the Tampa Bay Rays. The tickets are in section 86 and are $12. BCFPE members get a buy 1 get 1 free deal (maximum 1 free ticket per BCFPE Union Member).There will be a fireworks show following the game and the weather is looking good for that night.

The BCFPE Executive Board would like to say thank you to all our hard-working Baltimore County Public Employees. Your hard work and dedication to citizens of Baltimore County is greatly appreciated. To commemorate your hard work the BCFPE will be raffling off prizes during your respective appreciations’ weeks. From April 15, 2019 thru April 19, 2019 the Baltiimore County 911 center will be celebrating Telecommunicators Appreciation Week. From May 6, 2019 thru May 10, 2019 the Baltimore County Department of Corrections will be celebrating Correctional Employees Appreciation Week.

BCFPE FY2020 Contract Ratification Timeline

May 23, 2019 - Ratification Vote Passes
On May 23, 2019 a contract ratification vote took place at the BCFPE office at 305 W. Chesapeake Ave., Towson, Maryland 21204 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Based on the vote results, the BCFPE one-year contract extension was ratified by an 87.1% vote. Special thanks to all members who took time out of their busy schedules to vote.
