Baltimore County Government held a ceremony for signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with several bargaining units representing county employees. Among them were Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees (BCFPE) and Baltimore County Federation of Public Health Nurses (BCFPHN).

Each union separately bargained with the county. BCFPE ratified their contract in late May with more than 87% of the voting membership ratifying the contract. President John Ripley discussed the specifics of the MOU with members at the annual membership meeting the day before the agreement was ratified

The BCFPE Elections Committee has concluded the local's 2020 Election of Officers, with results provided by Elections USA, Inc. The new officers are as follows:

  • President: John Ripley
  • Executive Vice-President: Adam Hendrix
  • Secretary: Donna Neumeister
  • Treasurer: Dene Williams-Hatcher
  • Area I Vice President: VACANT (to be appointed by the Executive Board)
  • Area II Vice President: Christopher Morgan (new)
  • Area III Vice President: Matthew Madairy (new)
  • Area IV Vice President: Angela Spencer
  • Area V Vice President: Philbert E Christian
  • Area VI Vice President: Hermes L Rios
  • Area VII Vice President: Sarah Witcher (new)
