Labor for Love Takes Polar Bear Plunge

The Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees Local 4883 has long been committed to be partners in the local community. One of the places this partnership shows up is the commitment to the Special Olympics of Maryland. The union's participation began with our late executive vice president Bill Eaton and continues to this day.

The union has moved from just making a financial contribution to participating in the annual Polar Bear Plunge. This fun activity brings together members, executive board members, and their families for a bone-chilling good time, all for a great cause.

BCFPE is proud to continue labor's long legacy of community involvement and it brings us so much joy to know that our contribution and cold dip into the water will provide outstanding opportunities for such important members of our community.
