In the spirit of giving, consistent with the holiday season, members of the Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees (BCFPE) joined with AFL-CIO sisters and brothers to aid in the distribution of food and toys to families in need during the holiday season.
President John Ripley and others were a part of the team putting together packages and handing out food and toys leading up to the Christmas Holiday.
Joining President Ripley at the event were
Brian Reed and
Arley Scott. Scott was able to offer resources to one AFL-CIO member that were beneficial to her and her child. The group worked with AFT-Maryland Political Coordinator
Todd Reynolds for most of the day registering and distributing the packages. The members were proud to be there representing their union. They were able to practice the ideals of brotherhood true for all unions while lending a helping hand to those in need during the holiday season.
