BCFPE Holiday Season

As the holidays draw closer, everyone is getting in the spirit. That includes Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees (BCFPE) President John Ripley. President Ripley brought some cheer to our Metro Baltimore AFL-CIO neighbors in Harford County joining with the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance and the Marine Corps Reserve for their Toys for Tots program. While most days, you can find President Ripley in the office and around the county working for employees in Baltimore county, on this night he and his wife Mary transformed from labor unionists to Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

In addition to their kind-hearted gesture to the kids of Harford County, President Ripley and VP Adam Hendrix participated in an “Ugly Sweater” competition at the detention center. Although VP Hendrix had one of the ugliest sweaters (a compliment for this competition), he unfortunately didn’t win.

The holiday season brings out kindness, happiness, and good will among Americans and the leadership of BCFPE have been demonstrating that this holiday season.
