AFL-CIO Community Service 2014 Holiday Baskets

Metropolitan Baltimore Council (AFL-CIO Unions) is assisting union families by giving out Holiday Baskets to Union Members who are suffering financial hardship.  The baskets  include a Giant gift certificate for a ham or a turkey and other food.  Members with children  will also receive a gift for each child from newborn to 16 years of age.

Members interested MUST submit their request for consideration to the BCFPE Holiday Basket Coordinator at jripley@aft-maryland.org NO LATER THAN December 2, 2014. 

Please make sure to provide the following information along with your request in order to prevent any delay in your application being processed:

Name
Phone
Home address
Family size
Sex and ages of children under age 16
Reason for hardship

Also, holiday basket recipients must be available, or send a representative, to pick up their basket at the BCFPE office on WEDNESDAY, December 17, 2014 from 3pm to 5pm.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.  Members who received a basket for two consecutive years will be placed on a waiting list.
