AFT-Maryland is coordinating volunteers to make phone calls Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays until Nov. 3rd. Call to sign up for a shift!

We are also canvassing neighborhoods with Labor-to-Labor Door-to-Door walks, Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. We are union members talking to other union members, encouraging our brothers & sisters to come out to vote on November 4th.

AFT-Maryland will host a viewing party for the Brown & Hogan Gubernatorial Debate, Tuesday, October 7th, at the Baltimore Teachers Union Headquarters. 

Join your union sisters and brothers as we watch the two candidates for governor- including Labor-endorsed Anthony Brown- engage in the final debate before the general election. Food and soft drinks will be provided.

AFT Maryland affiliates including members of the Baltimore Teachers Union and the City Union of Baltimore joined with AFT National and other labor unions and progressive organizations at a Sept. 18 rally on Capitol Hill to protect seniors' hard earned benefits.
