At the Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees annual member meeting, President John Ripley gave a broad overview of the state of the union. The union is rapidly growing and by July anticipates being at 800 members. Should that growth continue as expected, within three years BCFPE will be the second largest public employee union in Baltimore county.

The Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees has communicated to their membership their recommended candidates for Baltimore County Council. Those candidates are: 

  • District 1 - Tom Quirk
  • District 2 - Izzy Patoka
  • District 3 - Wade Kach
  • District 4 - Julian Earl Jones
  • District 5 - David Marks
  • District 6 - Cathy Bevins
  • District 7 - Todd Crandell

Earlier in the election season, BCFPE communicated to members their recommendation of Vicki Almond for County Executive.
