UPDATE: Ballots for the 2017 BCFPE Election for all Union Officers are in the mail via Elections USA. Please be on the lookout for your ballot in the mail. If you have not received a ballot by September 18, 2017 please notify the committee chair immediately to receive a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots can be requested no later than September 18, 2017. All requests for replacement ballots must be in writing. No ballots will be faxed, emailed, or sent by express courier. [SEE NOTICE.]

Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees (BCFPE) trained a new group of stewards in the union’s office on Tuesday May 23, 2017. The stewards learned a lot about their union and its function. Many of them told stories of workplace bullying and harassment from superiors while also noting the difference in the behavior of management when a union official was present and when one was not. Those in attendance came from a number of county agencies including corrections and the 911 call center.

At its May 4 meeting, the BCFPE Board approved the following appointments to the Elections Committee:

  • Graceann Rehbein, Health Department
  • Jerlena Rhodes, Corrections
  • Samantha English, 911 Center
  • Tishawn Usiade, Health Department, Alternate

The Committee will meet throughout the summer to oversee the election of officers this fall.
