BCFPE Secures Binding Arbitration For County Employees

Though great teamwork and effort, BCFPE lead the charge with other unions to secure binding arbitration for all county employees. Now the County Council must create and write the language to be added to the County Code. BCFPE continues to monitor the work sessions and county council meetings to make sure that the spirit and needs of the law are enforced.

 President John Ripley stated   "This WIN is the first of this kind in the State".  “Public safety and merit employees can finally enjoy the same rights as fire and police employees.”
